Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Honours or Master’s in physics, materials science, nanotechnology, or related field.
• Hands-on nanoscale device fabrication or characterisation experience.
• Strong data analysis skills and Python coding.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and rigorous in documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardise test protocols for the QPU prototyping loop from design to 4K/mK testing.
• Establish quality-control processes for device screening and qualification.
• Analyse fabrication data and correlate parameters with device performance.
• Maintain structured records of device metrics to track yield and identify failure modes.
• Collaborate with atomic fabrication, cleanroom, and measurement teams to feed findings back into processes.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and cross-team fixes.
• Contribute to technical strategy and innovation with new ideas.
