Design Build Search in Sydney is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator with Australian contractor experience and data centre project exposure. You will work with management and site teams to provide commercial guidance throughout delivery.

The role requires a degree in construction economics or QS, 5+ years in QS/contract administration, strong interpersonal skills, and proven data centre and large-scale project experience.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse blueprints and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials and labour costs vs estimates.
• All quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuation and agreement of work sections.
• Experience in project management.
• Competent in all forms of estimating packages, Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction manager/supervisors to discuss cost.
• Monitor cost from vendors or subcontractors, explore variances, managing issues in conjunction with manager, deals with cost overseas and recovery.
• Reports on actual costs and examines estimates used by management for planning, organising and scheduling work.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project manager.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting system and procedures.
• Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data to be effective on cost reduction.

Design Build Search are working with a leading contractor in Sydney, Australia. Due to continued growth in the Data centre space, they have an opportunity for Senior Contract Administrator. The successful applicant must have previous Australian contractor experience and data centre project experience. Within this position you will work closely with management and site teams providing commercial guidance.

Minimum:
