Job summary

Primo Foods in Chullora, NSW, seeks a Quality Supervisor - Systems to lead the site Quality Management System and partner with operations to drive food safety and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will coordinate audits, maintain GMP/HACCP programs, manage documentation, and support national quality initiatives across the business. A tertiary degree in Food Science or related field and minimum 3 years in food manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems and quality management systems.
• Exposure to food industry standards and regulatory requirements, including BRC and retailer standards.
• Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong computer literacy with ability to manage data, reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day management of the site Quality Management System.
• Maintain and improve quality and food safety systems, including HACCP programs.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely corrective action closeout.
• Review, update and manage quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, specifications and records.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations, Continuous Improvement and R&D teams to drive quality and compliance outcomes.
• Support site quality meetings, training activities and change management processes.
• Monitor compliance requirements, including supplier documentation, pest control programs, verification activities and quality reporting.

Primo Foods is seeking a Quality Supervisor - Systems to join our team in Chullora and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing site quality and food safety systems.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the site Quality Management System, supporting compliance with customer, regulatory and certification requirements, and partnering closely with operations to drive continuous improvement. This role also contributes to national quality initiatives and supports quality outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Bring
