Job summary

Tronox is seeking an experienced Chemist to join the North Shore MSP in Bunbury, WA. The role is full-time (38 hours/week) with a possible 9-day compressed fortnight, reporting to the Quality Laboratory Lead.

You will develop and maintain XRF calibrations, validate methods, monitor QC, and support investigations and process improvements. A strong quality management focus and ISO 17025 alignment are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science-based discipline, chemistry preferred.
• Experience working in a laboratory.
• Demonstrated ability to promote safety and inclusive work environment.
• Knowledge of XRF calibration and QC practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain XRF calibrations.
• Validate analytical methods and monitor QC systems.
• Support plant investigations and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain quality management systems in line with ISO 17025.
• Assist auditing, compliance and reporting activities.
