Job summary

JBS Australia in Cobram is seeking experienced Quality Assurance Officers to join Day and Afternoon Shift teams. You will work with production, regulators and service providers to monitor food safety, quality and market access, maintaining documentation and supporting audits.

The role reports to the FSQA Manager and requires ensuring compliance with licensing, regulatory requirements and customer specifications daily.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing, meat processing, QA or compliance environment.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to interpret procedures, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Qualification in Food Science or QA is preferred.
• Experience in export meat processing facilities and AUS-MEAT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of the Approved Arrangement (AA) and HACCP Program.
• Maintain FSQA documentation and records for accuracy and retrievability.
• Conduct routine verification activities and report non-conformances to the FSQA Manager.
• Assist in data collection, analysis and reporting of quality and compliance data.
• Support regulatory updates and controlled documentation distribution.
• Participate in customer, certification and regulatory audits as required.
