Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Australia. You will support inspections, data analysis, and calibration activities while gaining exposure to electrical manufacture and continuous improvement projects.

The role suits a recent engineering or quality-focused graduate with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Excellent MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or related field.
• Interest in quality, manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, organized and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support quality inspections and testing activities to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing quality and testing data.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure equipment documentation is up to date.
• Help review quality documents, work instructions, and shopfloor documentation for accuracy.
• Participate in quality audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist the Quality team with investigations, reporting, and quality improvement projects.
