Job summary

Terra Verde is delivering a major tunnelling project in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. As a Quality Engineer you will ensure activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and procedures using QA tools to manage non-conformances and workmanship issues.

You will conduct on-site inspections, maintain quality records, manage NCRs through close-out, and verify corrective actions. Work with supervisors to resolve defects and participate in meetings to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with site inspections, ITPs and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of NCRs, defect management and corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and subcontractor inspections to ensure compliance with ITPs and drawings.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation, including work lots and records.
• Prepare and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) through to close-out.
• Verify implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
• Manage defects and drive timely resolution.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Participate in Quality and Construction meetings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Deliver work efficiently within required timeframes.
