Job summary
Dematic is seeking a Quality Engineer for automated warehousing projects in Australia. You will embed within project delivery teams to plan, execute, and continually improve quality across design, supplier engagement, installation, and commissioning.
Travel to customer sites will be required and you will guide cross-functional teams through structured QA processes. The role emphasizes root cause analysis, on-site audits, and collaboration with engineering, operations, and suppliers to strengthen
Qualifications
- 7+ years in Quality Engineering or Project Quality roles.
- Engineering or related technical discipline at degree/diploma level.
- Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor in ISO9001 preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead project qualification plans with key stakeholders.
- Lead supplier quality audits and on-site quality assurance activities.
- Conduct root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions (RCA, CAPA).
- Monitor quality performance and prepare data-driven status reports for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous quality improvements.
