Job summary

Corine Duke Recruitment Pty Ltd – St Marys NSW is looking for a Quality, Compliance & Sustainability Officer to own safety, compliance and sustainability systems in a growing Western Sydney manufacturing environment.

You’ll lead internal audits and coordinate external audits, ensuring registers are current and reporting to leadership is proactive. This is a full-time, onsite role with clear ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years' experience in workplace safety, compliance, risk or audit.
• Confident running internal audits, with some exposure to external audits (ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001).
• Internal Auditor training or a Diploma in Quality, Compliance or Environmental Management would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Run the internal audit program and coordinate external audits across ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Own quality traceability, certification evidence and the corrective action register.
• Build out ESG, modern slavery and sustainability reporting as customer requirements grow.
• Build toward Management Review and Board reporting with genuine scope to take full ownership over time.
• As the business grows, so does the scope of what you own.

What You'll Bring

You'll need genuine experience in workplace safety, compliance, governance, risk or audit, this is not a technical or product quality background.

Backgrounds from outside manufacturing are welcome, as long as the compliance and audit experience is genuinely there.

At least 3-5 years' experience in workplace safety, compliance, risk or audit

Confident running internal audits, with some exposure to external audits (ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001)

A Cert IV in WHS (or you're close to completing it)

Internal Auditor training, or a Diploma in Quality, Compliance or Environmental Management would be beneficial, or you're happy to undertake any further training

Confident with Microsoft Office and comfortable creating training or induction content, Canva experience is a bonus

You lead with helpfulness, not authority, this isn't a role for someone who wants to police compliance

Who You'd Be Working With

You'll join a small, close-knit safety and compliance team, reporting to a Safety Manager with genuinely deep industry experience who trains, supports and develops their team. Day to day, you're consulting across the whole business.

Production, warehouse and office teams across the business

Your safety counterpart, who owns machine safety, risk registers and floor operations

External consultants and third-party providers

Regulatory and certification bodies as required
