Job summary

Aurecon Group in Melbourne is seeking a Quality Auditor to strengthen its Quality Management Systems within the Legal & Governance team. You will conduct internal audits across projects, assess conformance to ISO 9001, and report findings and corrective actions.

Collaborating with the Quality Manager and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand, you will promote continuous improvement and support external audits, helping Aurecon maintain its high standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• ISO 9001 Internal Lead Auditor certification.
• Strong QMS and quality assurance knowledge, including ISO 9001 requirements.
• Demonstrated quality assurance experience, including internal audits and project auditing.
• A related bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports.
• Clear communication skills and a positive approach to process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal project, process and systems audits across the business.
• Assess the effectiveness of Quality Management Systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare audit findings, reports and recommendations, including non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Support external audits and quality assurance activities as required.
• Partner with stakeholders to promote continuous improvement and quality-focused outcomes.
• Provide quality audit support to Aurecon projects through project engagements.
• Work with the Quality Manager and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand to strengthen processes.
• Help ensure conformance with internal processes, client requirements and ISO 9001.
