Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Quality Auditor to join the Legal & Governance team for a 12-month parental leave cover, based in Australia. You will strengthen Aurecon’s Quality Management Systems, conduct internal audits, and partner with stakeholders across ANZ to ensure conformance with ISO 9001 and client requirements.

You will prepare findings, support external audits, and drive continuous improvement across projects. The role requires certification and a detail-oriented, communicative professional.

Qualifications

• Must hold ISO 9001 Internal Lead Auditor certification.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in internal audits and project auditing.
• Related bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical thinking and root-cause analysis skills.
• Clear communication and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal project, process and systems audits across the business.
• Assess effectiveness of Quality Management Systems and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare audit findings, reports and corrective actions.
• Support external audits and quality assurance activities as required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote continuous improvement and quality outcomes.
• Provide quality audit support to Aurecon projects through project engagements.
