Job summary

Thomas Foods International in Bourke, NSW invites a hands-on QA Manager to lead food hygiene, product quality and regulatory compliance at our Bourke plant, delivering excellence in a fast paced environment.

You will implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS), monitor processes, ensure AUS-MEAT and customer specifications are met, and drive AQIS and TFIB standards across the site.

Relocation assistance is available to support you joining the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in the meat or food processing industry.
• Knowledge of AUS-MEAT specification standards.
• Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent.
• Understanding of the Meat Hygiene Assessment framework.

Responsibilities

• Operate to achieve agreed operational performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company and AQIS licensing requirements.
• Maintain and promote Workplace Health & Safety practices.
• Implement and maintain the Integrated Management System across the site.
• Monitor processes to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
• Ensure product conformance with AUS-MEAT and customer specifications.
• Meet AQIS requirements and maintain compliance.
• Uphold TFIB Quality Systems, HACCP, GMP, IMS and Environmental Management programs.

As our QA Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring both company and customer satisfaction by upholding the highest standards of food hygiene, product quality, and compliance.
