Job summary

Stanbroke Beef is seeking a Quality Assurance leader to drive food safety and regulatory compliance across our Northern Queensland facility. You will lead the QA team, uphold HACCP and GMP standards, and coordinate audits from BRCGS, AUS-MEAT, Halal and Organic programs.

You’ll mentor staff, ensure accurate records, and champion continuous improvement in product quality and export readiness. Join a respected Australian beef producer and exporter and help maintain our commitment to safety,

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA in meat processing, manufacturing or export.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety systems and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the QA team and promote safe work practices.
• Oversee HACCP, GMP, and verification programs across the facility.
• Coordinate internal and external audits (BRCGS, AUS-MEAT, Halal, Organic).
• Investigate customer complaints and implement CAPAs.
• Maintain quality records and reports per regulatory requirements.
• Deliver training on food safety, quality, and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality and efficiency.
• Support QA Manager in achieving department goals.
