St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is seeking an Access Correctional and Imaging (A&I) Quality and Improvement Officer to optimise service planning, stakeholder engagement and data analytics. This strategic role supports exceptional patient care and organizational excellence.

The role leads problem-solving, aligns initiatives with strategic goals, strengthens planning and QA, cultivates a culture of improvement, and enhances data reporting in collaboration with the DSU, across the A&I

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including analytic skills in clinical and project management and analysis.
• Strong and well-developed project management, and/or planning and organizational skills.
• Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead Problem-Solving & Project Management: provide dedicated support to drive quality and improvement initiatives at program and department levels.
• Align Initiatives with Strategic Goals: ensure projects align with KPIs and quality standards.
• Strengthen Service Planning & Quality Assurance: work with Senior Management to improve planning and QA by linking with Quality and Continuous Improvement.
• Cultivate a Culture of Improvement: promote best practices and continuous improvement across Access and Imaging workforce.
• Enhance Data Reporting & Analytics: liaise with DSU to ensure accurate data-driven decision-making.

About the Role

The Access Correctional and Imaging (A&I) Quality and Improvement Officer is dedicated to optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the A&I Directorate by building enhanced capabilities in service planning, stakeholder engagement, and data analytics.

This strategic role is central to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing organizational excellence.

• Lead Problem-Solving & Project Management: Provide dedicated problem-solving and project management support at both program and departmental levels to drive quality and improvement initiatives.
• Align Initiatives with Strategic Goals: Collaborate with local Audit & Improvement committees to ensure that all quality and improvement projects align with organizational strategic plans, key performance indicators (KPIs), and quality standards.
• Strengthen Service Planning & Quality Assurance: Work closely with Senior Management to improve service planning and quality assurance by building stronger connections with the Quality and Continuous Improvement departments.
• Cultivate a Culture of Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the Access and Imaging workforce by enhancing capabilities and promoting best practices.
• Enhance Data Reporting & Analytics: Improve data reporting and monitoring by serving as a liaison with the Decision Support Unit (DSU) to ensure accurate and timely data-driven decision-making.

• Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 – 2028 or its successor (Enterprise Agreement).
• Allied health professionals/ (Victorian public health sector) Single Interest enterprise agreement 2021 - 2026 or its successor Classifications for this position will range depending on discipline
• Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 or its successor

About Access and Demand

The Access and Imaging Directorate plays a critical role in supporting the hospital's operational flow by ensuring timely access to acute inpatient beds, diagnostic imaging, and interventional procedures. This directorate also delivers both admitted and non-admitted specialist services across the Medical and Emergency, Surgical, and Specialist programs, which encompass a complex array of national, state-wide, and local clinical services.
