Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects Australia is seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to join our national PMO. You will support project setup, implement inspection and testing systems, and drive continuous improvement across high-voltage infrastructure projects.

Based in Adelaide, Sydney or Doncaster with travel to site up to 2 weeks per month, you’ll embed quality across planning, design, site execution and commissioning while collaborating with Engineering, Project Delivery and Construction teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in quality onHV energy or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Qualifications in Quality Management or related field.
  • Certified/qualified quality auditor with ISO 9001:2015 experience.
  • Experience developing and implementing ITPs, ITCs, inspection/testing systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS3000/AS3600/AS4100.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and offices (up to 2 weeks/month).
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

  • Support the quality management setup and implementation for new projects.
  • Define, standardise and continually improve inspection/testing processes across projects.
  • Support setup and implementation of ITPs/ITCs.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits and health checks.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Advisor to join our national PMO team. In this role, you’ll support the set-up, implementation and continuous improvement for new projects including inspection and testing systems, ensuring practical, consistent application across our high-voltage infrastructure projects.

Working closely with our Engineering, Project Delivery, and Construction teams, you’ll embed quality into every stage of the project lifecycle - from planning and design, through to site execution and commissioning.

Based in either our Adelaide, Sydney or Doncaster offices with travel to site up to 2 weeks per month, this is a high-impact and highly collaborative role that gives you the opportunity to influence how Australia’s future energy assets are delivered.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the quality management set-up and implementation for new projects
  • Define, standardise and continually improve of inspection and testing processes across projects
  • Support project teams in the setup and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Certificates (ITCs)
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits, reviews, and system health checks
  • Facilitate and support the resolution of audit findings and non-conformance through investigation, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Deliver training and guidance to project teams to uplift quality capability and embed best practices
  • Influence a strong quality culture across both office and site environments
Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • 3+ years’ experience in quality, ideally on high voltage energy or civil infrastructure projects from either a project based or centralised function role
  • Recognised qualifications in Quality Management or a related field
  • Certified or qualified quality auditor, with demonstrated experience planning and conducting audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent
  • Practical experience developing and implementing ITPs, ITCs, and inspection/testing systems
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, and familiarity with AS3000, AS3600 and AS4100
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites and regional offices (up to 2 weeks/month)
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence
