Qualitative Research Consultant
Salary: $90K + Super
Location: Melbourne

We are partnering with a leading boutique market insights agency in Melbourne to find a Qualitative Research Consultant with a strong foundation in qualitative research. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of agency experience who is ready to step into a more strategic, hands-on role and contribute to high-impact projects across services and FMCG.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of qualitative research projects
  • Moderation of focus groups and in-depth interviews
  • Development of discussion guides and research materials
  • Strategic analysis and interpretation of qualitative data
  • Client engagement and contribution to insight delivery
  • Collaborating closely with senior team members to solve complex problems and deliver meaningful outcomes

Key Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of qualitative research experience within an agency environment
  • Strong background in behavioural science, marketing, or a related field
  • Confident writing discussion guides and conducting qualitative fieldwork
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesise findings and connect key insights
  • Naturally curious with a strong point of view on research approaches and methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
