Job summary

Qualifications

• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.

• Certificate IV in Train Driving and AQF train operations qualification are required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil train operations requirements in a timely, safe, efficient and punctual manner.
• Participate in training, briefing sessions and toolbox talks associated with safe and efficient train operations.
• Mentor and encourage training for trainee train drivers.
• Conduct shunting and train inspections in accordance with company procedures.
• Promote QLRS in all forums to raise the organisation's profile within industry.
• Encourage a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
