Job summary

Brenton Neville Plumbing on the Atherton Tablelands is seeking a Qualified Plumber and/or Roofing Plumber to join our local, family‑run team. We handle residential and commercial projects and pride ourselves on doing quality work.

You’ll be paid based on experience, with hourly rates ranging from $40 to $55 plus super. We welcome experienced plumbers or those developing their skills who bring a positive attitude and a willingness to take ownership.

Qualifications

• QLD trade qualifications/licensing relevant to your role.
• Experience with Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Current manual C Class driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Residential and commercial plumbing.
• New builds and project work.
• Metal roofing and roof plumbing.
• Stormwater and drainage.
• Septic and sewerage systems.
• Hot water installations.
• Gas fitting where appropriately licensed.
• Reading plans and completing works to specification.
• Working with builders, clients and other trades.
• Working independently, as part of a crew or alongside an apprentice.

Brenton Neville Plumbing is looking for a Qualified Plumber and/or Roofing Plumber to join our team on the Atherton Tablelands.

We're a locally owned and operated business with a strong pipeline of residential and commercial work, looking for another capable tradesperson who takes pride in doing a job properly.

At BNP, your pay reflects what you bring to the team.

If you're an experienced, productive tradesperson who can work autonomously, think ahead, solve problems and take ownership of your jobs without needing constant direction, we're prepared to pay accordingly.

If you're qualified but still developing your experience and confidence, we're open to that too — provided you have the right attitude, take feedback on board and genuinely want to improve.

$40–$55 per hour + super, based on experience and demonstrated capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Residential and commercial plumbing
• New builds and project work
• Metal roofing and roof plumbing
• Stormwater and drainage

You don't need to be experienced in every area we work in.

What You'll Bring:

• Current QLD trade qualifications/licensing relevant to your role
• Strong trade experience and sound working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and NCC requirements
• Current manual C Class driver's licence
• Relevant tickets/licences for the work you undertake
• Your own basic trade tools
• Reliable transport during the probation period
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew, alongside an apprentice or independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach
• Reliability, accountability and the ability to take ownership of your work
• Above all — pride in your workmanship and a positive attitude towards being part of the team
