Qualifications

• Qualified plumber with strong drainage/wastewater experience; onsite training can be provided.
• Excavator experience and licence are essential.
• MR or HR licence is highly regarded.
• Mechanically minded with good problem-solving ability.
• Strong work ethic and reliability are required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using iPads and job management apps; training provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Septic and Wastewater Treatment plant installations - Domestic and Commercial
• New installations and existing property upgrades
• Drainage installations
• Maintenance of septic and wastewater systems
• Assisting in emergency work, blockages, Jetting & CCTV inspections and completing detailed onsite Septic Reports
• Operating excavators, HR truck and associated equipment
• Diagnosing system issues, fault finding, providing practical solutions along with parts and equipment replacements
• Completing service reports and job documentation
• Communicating with customers on site and over the phone, maintaining strong relationships, explaining issues and identifying solutions

Southern Septics provide Commercial and Domestic wastewater treatment plants and septic installations, drainage solutions, servicing and maintenance & liquid waste services across Gippsland and the southeastern Victoria region.

About the Role

This is a hands-on and varied role combining plumbing & all things within the wastewater industry.

You will work across residential, commercial and rural properties throughout the region.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Septic and Wastewater Treatment plant installations - Domestic and Commercial




• New installations and existing property upgrades




• Drainage installations




• Maintenance of septic and wastewater systems

• Nationally Recognised Training courses are on offer for the right person - Class A High Pressure Water Jetting, Vacuum Loading Systems, Confined Space, plus more...

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Qualified plumber with strong drainage/wastewater experience (Onsite training can be provided)




• Excavator experience and licence essential




• MR or HR license highly regarded




• Mechanically minded with good problem-solving ability

• Good communication and customer service skills




• Comfortable using iPads and Job management apps (Full training provided)




• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in septic and wastewater systems, septic servicing or liquid waste operations is highly regarded, but the right attitude and willingness to learn is also important.
