Job summary

Mt Alexander Plumbing is seeking a reliable, motivated Qualified Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis. You will carry out a range of residential, commercial and maintenance plumbing works, work independently and uphold high workmanship standards while representing the company to customers, builders and other trades.

The ideal candidate holds a current Plumbing Trade Qualification and Registration, has experience in diagnosing faults, installing and maintaining hot water systems, and

Qualifications

• Current Plumbing Trade Qualification is required.
• Registration/licence appropriate to the work.
• Experience as a qualified plumber.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation methods.
• Ability to diagnose faults and provide practical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general plumbing, maintenance and installation works.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults and issues.
• Install, repair and maintain hot water systems, pipework, fixtures and fittings.
• Complete new installations, renovations and maintenance work.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications and job requirements.
• Identify plumbing issues and provide practical solutions.
• Liaise professionally with customers, builders and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Complete work in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, plumbing regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Complete job documentation, photos and reports where required.

Mt Alexander Plumbing is looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced Qualified Plumber to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing works across residential, commercial and maintenance jobs. You will be expected to work independently, maintain a high standard of workmanship and represent Mt Alexander Plumbing professionally when dealing with customers, builders and other trades.

Key responsibilities

Carry out general plumbing, maintenance and installation works.

Diagnose and repair plumbing faults and issues.

Install, repair and maintain hot water systems, pipework, fixtures and fittings.

Complete new installations, renovations and maintenance work.

Read and interpret plans, specifications and job requirements.

Identify plumbing issues and provide practical solutions.

Liaise professionally with customers, builders and other trades.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.

Complete work in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, plumbing regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.

Complete job documentation, photos and reports where required.

About you

A current Plumbing Trade Qualification.

Current Plumbing Registration/Licence appropriate to the work being undertaken.

Previous experience working as a qualified plumber.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials and installation methods.

Ability to diagnose faults and solve problems effectively.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and customer service skills.
