Job summary

YMCA South Australia invites applications for a Qualified OSHC Educator at St Joseph's Primary School OSHC. You will deliver safe, play-based programs for 5–12-year-olds before/after school and during holidays, with a focus on social, emotional, and physical development in a collaborative team.

You'll meet ACECQA qualifications, complete required First Aid and safeguarding training, and contribute to continuous improvement within a supportive YMCA context.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved qualification - Diploma or higher-level qualification (essential)
• HLTAID009 CPR + HLTAID012 First Aid in Education and Care (or willingness to obtain)
• RRHAN-EC Masterclass (or willingness to complete)
• Food Handling Training (or willingness to complete)
• Sound knowledge of OSHC Quality Assurance and the School Age Care Framework

Responsibilities

• Deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based programs for children aged 5–12
• Supervise and support children’s safety, wellbeing, and active participation
• Build trust with children, families, and school communities
• Collaborate with your team and Service Director to plan and improve programs
• Maintain accurate records and uphold regulatory and safeguarding standards
