Job summary

The YMCA Queensland invites applications for casual Educator roles at YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care. You’ll supervise children before/after school and during vacations, delivering engaging, safe activities in a welcoming space that supports growth and social learning.

We value energy, creativity and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure a positive, inclusive experience for every child. First Aid/ CPR certificates and Blue Card are preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or School Age Education and Care.
• First Aid and CPR certificate current or willingness to obtain.
• Paid Blue Card held or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities.
• Create a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Promote wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.
