Q and O Plumbing in Geelong is seeking a skilled Registered Plumber to work on diverse commercial and industrial projects. You will contribute across general, maintenance and commercial plumbing, collaborating with a growing team that values quality, safety and continuous development.

The role offers a long-term, permanent position with opportunities for further training, a company vehicle, and a structured 38-hour week with RDOs.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience as a qualified plumber, ideally in commercial plumbing.
• Certificate III in Plumbing from a recognised post-secondary institution.
• Strong technical skills in maintenance plumbing and ability to read plans.
• Knowledge of relevant plumbing standards and regulations.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel or work away when required.
• Permanent rights to work in Australia.
• Working with children check and heights safety training.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures, valves and fittings
• Conducting water treatment, stormwater and sanitary system work
• Routine backflow and TMV testing
• Testing systems for leaks and ensuring code compliance
• CCTV of Sewer and Stormwater Drains
• Performing scheduled maintenance and service work
• Working with materials such as metal, polycarbonate and PVC
• Ensuring a clean, safe and well-organised work environment
• Exhibiting a strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work

Skills & Experience:

• Strong technical skills across Maintenance plumbing
• Experience reading and interpreting plans
• Strong practical skills and knowledge of relevant plumbing standards and regulations.
• A high attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Willingness to work away when required
• A minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified plumber, ideally in commercial plumbing.
• Flexibility to move between project locations as the business expands.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Certificate III in Plumbing from a recognised and accredited post-secondary institution.
