Job summary

The Paver Shop in Melbourne is seeking a landscaper/paver who specialises in paving and installation. You will supply and install quality natural stone pavers on projects across Melbourne, with our Thomastown showroom serving as a base.

The role involves laying pavers, reading landscape plans, and mentoring a small team of apprentices. Ideal candidates have a Certificate III in Landscape Construction or 5+ years of hard landscaping experience, a Construction White Card, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Landscape Construction or 5+ years' hard landscaping experience.
• Construction White Card.
• Current and valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Competent in laying all types and styles of pavers.
• Physically able for demanding work.
• Strong communication, punctuality and reliability.
• Experience in hardscaping with diverse landscaping skills.
• MR license or similar machinery licenses desirable but not essential.

Job description

We are hiring for a landscaper/paver who specialises in paving and installation. The role involves supplying and installing quality natural stone pavers. Our shop/showroom is located in Thomastown, however we complete jobs all around Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Lay all types and styles of pavers
• Adhere to project schedules while producing quality work with an eye for detail
• Lead a small team and mentor apprentices or labourers
• Interpret landscape documentation, design and specifications
• Demonstrate understanding of safe work procedures

About you

• Minimum Certificate III in Landscape Construction or minimum of 5 years' experience held in hard landscaping
• Construction White Card
• Current and valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work autonomously
• Competent in laying all types and styles of pavers
• Physically able and fit as the work can be physically demanding
• Good work ethic – punctuality, reliability and strong communication skills
• Experience in hard scaping with a broad range of practical landscaping skills
• Medium rigid truck, bobcat or excavator license would be highly desirable but not essential
