Job summary

Package Landscapes Australia is seeking crew members for hardscaping and softscaping work based in Melbourne with travel across Victoria to deliver nature play and outdoor spaces.

The role requires physical fitness, reliability, and a collaborative mindset; experience in playground construction is desirable, with travel and accommodation covered when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardscaping and softscaping; essential for the role.
• Willing to travel/stay away from home if required; travel and accommodation covered.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a team.
• Experience in commercial landscaping, playground construction is desirable.
• Positive attitude with good presentation and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist on hardscaping and softscaping projects across Victoria.
• Travel to sites as required; accommodation provided when away.
• Maintain safety standards and on-site organisation.
• Operate basic machinery when trained (desirable).
• Collaborate with the team to deliver quality outdoor spaces.

Package Landscapes Australia is a leader in nature play and hardscaping construction delivering unique and nature play based outdoor environments down the east coast of Australia with specialised expertise in schools, education environments and complex outdoor play spaces. We are looking for someone to join our team based in Melbourne with work throughout Victoria.

What We are Looking For:

• Proven experience and knowledge in hardscaping, such as paving and concreting) and softscaping (hardscaping experience is essential)
• Happy to work away from home occasionally (we cover travel and accommodation costs)
• Reliable, organised and ability to work well in a team
• Experience in commercial landscaping, especially playground construction (desirable)
• Positive attitude with good presentation and communication skills
• Physically fit and capable of working outside
• Commitment to quality and safety practices

Tickets & Licences:

• Blue Card/Working with Children Check (mandatory)
• Valid Drivers Licence (Provisional or Open)
• White Card
• Machine tickets: Excavator, Skid Steer (desirable)
