Qualified Gardener | Prestigious CBD Sites | $35+ per hour + Commuter Vehicle

OnSite Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client for an enviable opportunity for an experienced Qualified Gardener to work across some of Melbourne CBD’s most high-profile and prestigious sites, including entertainment, art and sporting venues.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional gardener who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in high-profile public environments.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day horticultural presentation and maintenance of prestigious CBD sites, supported by an offsider who will work alongside you.

Duties will include:

• Weeding, pruning and mulching
• Hedging and general garden maintenance
• Planting and garden rejuvenation
• Chemical spraying and weed control
• General horticultural duties
• Maintaining gardens and landscaped areas to a high standard
• Liaising professionally with clients, visitors and members of the public
• Supervising and working alongside your offsider

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Certificate III in Horticulture – essential
• Current ChemCert – essential
• Previous experience in a similar gardening/horticultural role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ability to confidently liaise with clients and members of the public
• A professional, well-spoken and approachable manner
• Strong horticultural knowledge and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Pride in maintaining high-profile sites to an exceptional standard
