ANAKA is a Wella Colour Expert salon at 90 Glenferrie Road, Malvern. For 17 years we've built long-term relationships with clients and our team, and this year we were finalists at the Digital Hair Awards in four categories: Best Hair Shot, Best Consultation, Best Blonde Specialist and Best Haircut.

We're growing and seeking a full-time Qualified Hairdresser to join our team. You will cut, foil, tint and style, lead consultations, build loyal clients, recommend treatments, contribute to social

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience as a hairdresser.
• Strong colour skills across all areas of hairdressing.
• Excellent communication and a warm, professional manner.
• Great time management in a busy salon.
• Love of learning and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, foiling, tinting, blowouts and straightening.
• Leading thorough consultations and recommending looks for each client.
• Building a loyal client base through great service, rebooking and homecare advice.
• Recommending treatments and retail to keep clients' hair healthy between visits.
• Contributing to Instagram and TikTok content (photos and reels).
• Staying current with trends through ongoing training.

What you'll be doing

• Cutting, foiling, tinting, blowouts and straightening services
• Leading thorough consultations and recommending looks that suit each client
• Building a loyal client base through great service, rebooking and honest homecare advice
• Recommending treatments and retail that keep your clients' hair healthy between visits
• Contributing to our Instagram and TikTok content (photos and reels)
• Staying current with trends through ongoing training

What you'll bring

• A Certificate III in Hairdressing, or equivalent proven experience
• At least 3 years' experience as a hairdresser
• Strong colour skills and confidence across all areas of hairdressing
• Excellent communication and a warm, professional manner
• Great time management in a busy salon
• A love of learning and a team-first attitude
