Job summary

Sharp Electrical & Air is seeking a qualified Electrician for diverse work across residential, commercial, and insurance projects in the Brisbane region. You will perform electrical installations, maintenance, fault finding, solar and battery installations, and air conditioning work, with opportunities to lead junior electricians and apprentices.

We offer a competitive hourly rate ($50–$65/hr) with a weekly KPI bonus on top of base pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a qualified tradesperson.
• Ability to fault find and solve problems independently.
• Ability to lead a team and apprentices.
• Current Queensland Electrical License required.

Primary: Qualified Electricians – Solar & Air Con Experience Preferred

About the role

You'll move between residential service work, commercial projects and insurance jobs, so you'll never be stuck doing the same thing week in and week out.

Key responsibilities

Residential and commercial electrical installations, maintenance and fault finding

Insurance and make-safe work

Solar and battery installations

Air conditioning installation, servicing and repairs

Complete works and problem solve independently

About you

Minimum 2 years of as a qualified tradesperson

Can complete tasks, fault find and problem solve independently

Ability to lead a team and apprentice's

Current Queensland Electrical License

Air conditioning and/or solar experience (Certifications highly regarded)

Manual driver's license

Construction white card (Must have)

Current First Aid Certificate (Must have)

Highly regarded: CEC solar accreditation

Highly regarded: ARCtick refrigerant handling license

Highly regarded: Working at heights and EWP tickets

$50 – $65 per hour depending on experience + KPI Bonus each week on top of base salary

$5,000 sign-on bonus
