Job summary

C Side Plumbing is a dynamic plumbing and drainage company based in South East Melbourne. We are currently seeking a motivated qualified Drainer and/or 3rd/4th year drainage apprentice to join our team.

The role will involve installing sewer and stormwater drains, setting out jobs from plans, and basic material ordering. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of drainage systems, a Construction White Card, a current driver’s license, and ideally an HR license.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of sewer and stormwater drainage systems.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Current driver’s license is required.
• HR license is ideal; training can be arranged for the right candidate.
• Excavator operator experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install sewer and storm water drains, pits and retention systems.
• Set out jobs using plans and laser, including levels and grades.
• Order basic materials as needed.

C Side Plumbing is a dynamic well-rounded plumbing & drainage company, located in the South East Melbourne area. We specialise in new homes, town house developments & small groups of apartments.

We’re currently seeking a highly motivated qualified Drainer and/or 3rd / 4th year drainage apprentice to join our team.

The role will include, but not be limited to:

• Install of sewer & storm water drains, pits, retention systems & basement drainage
• Understanding of plans & setting out jobs
• Setting levels & grades on the laser
• Basic ordering of materials (when required)

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• A sound knowledge of sewer and stormwater drainage systems
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver’s License
• HR License is ideal however, for the right candidate we can arrange for you to complete the required course
• Competent Excavator Operator experience is ideal but not essential
• Ability to work well within a team environment / run a team when required,as well as work independently
• Be honest, reliable and have a can-do attitude
• All of our work is in knock down rebuild areas (no estate work).
