Job summary

Clayfield Kitchen Designs is seeking a Qualified Cabinet Maker/Leading Hand to join our Narangba workshop on a full-time basis. You will lead and train apprentices, translate design concepts into finished cabinetry, and oversee production from start to finish with precision and care.

Work with modern machinery and premium materials in a collaborative team, ensuring every project meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction in residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on cabinet maker experience.
• Ability to read detailed plans and drawings.
• Proficient with woodworking machinery and hand tools; CNC experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Work well independently and in a team.
• Good communication and leadership; able to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating custom kitchen cabinets, vanities, and wardrobes.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications for accurate production.
• Operating a range of woodworking machinery and tools to produce components.
• Assembling and finishing cabinetry and joinery to exacting standards.

About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Cabinet Maker/Leading Hand to join our team at our Narangba workshop on a full-time basis. This is a key position within our production department, you will be responsible for training and supervision of our apprentices, you will also play a vital role in designing, manufacturing, and installing custom cabinetry for our valued clients. As a Qualified Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into reality, ensuring every project meets our exacting standards of quality and craftsmanship. Key responsibilities

• Fabricating custom kitchen cabinets, vanities, and wardrobes

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years' hands-on experience as a Cabinet Maker
• Strong technical skills and ability to read and interpret detailed plans and drawings
• Proficient in the use of a wide range of woodworking machinery and hand tools, CNC Experience an advantage but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Must be able to communicate with customers
