Job summary

Central Victorian Kia & Isuzu Ute is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our modern workshop in Bendigo. You will perform repairs and servicing to manufacturer schedules and participate in road testing and fault diagnosis with computer equipment.

We value candidates with a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and 2.5 years of dealership experience, plus a willingness to learn and work on modern vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
• 2.5 years of Dealership experience.
• Roadworthy inspector's qualification is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing per manufacturer schedules.
• Identify vehicle concerns and discuss repairs with clients via service advisors.
• Disassembly and reassembly of vehicles to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults with assistance of computer equipment.
• Maintain high standards of workshop safety and cleanliness.
• Willingness to learn and work on modern vehicles.
• Ongoing training is available.

To be responsible for carrying out repairs and servicing as per manufacturers schedules.

To have a minimum Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and 2.5 years of Dealership experience.

Identifying vehicle concerns and liaising with service advisors on suggested repairs to discuss with clients.
