Plantation Homes is seeking a Building Manager to join our Leadership team in Melbourne. You will lead a team of 3 Regional Building Managers, 10 Construction Managers and 40 Supervisors, guiding performance and delivery across both order homes and completed homes businesses.

You'll set annual budgets, plan workforce capacity, and ensure subcontractor capacity while supporting a high‑performance culture. This is a high‑impact role with broad influence across the project portfolio.

We’re now looking for a Building Manager to join our Leadership team.

This is a role with real influence. You’ll lead a team of 3 Regional Building Managers, 10 Construction Managers and 40 Construction Supervisors across both our order home and completed homes businesses. It’s a role that has genuine impact, on our customers, our people and the performance of the business.

Where you’ll make impact

You’ll be joining an experienced construction team with strong systems and processes already in place and will work closely with senior leaders to set direction, remove roadblocks and make sure our construction team have what they need to perform well.

Accountable for all construction results, you’ll set annual budgets, regularly review workforce requirements and ensure both the appropriate internal team structure and subcontractor support and trade capacity levels are in place to service current and future building volume.

Suited to a leader who is curious, ambitious, and eager to outperform KPIs and drive a high-performance culture, this role gives you scope to innovate, introduce efficiency, and increase productivity across both Plantation Homes and the broader industry through involvement in key forums and industry groups.

You’re highly regarded

You may currently be a GM of Construction, Building Manager, State Construction Manager or senior construction leader within a volume residential builder.

You've developed strong teams, navigated changing market conditions, are trusted in the industry by suppliers and trades, have a commercial outlook, demonstrate a commitment to customer and quality and have a sharp technical background.
