Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Australia is seeking a senior QHSE Manager to lead Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems across a state-of-the-art facility, reporting to the Head of Operations. You will partner with operations to drive compliance, product quality and business performance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering, Quality Management or a related discipline.
• Background in regulated manufacturing industries (food, pharma, medical devices, packaging, plastics).
• Experience leading QHSE or Food Safety leadership in manufacturing.
• Proven ISO 9001 quality management system implementation & maintenance.
• HACCP and Food Safety management experience.
• Experience leading internal and external audits and certification programs.
• Strong RCA, CAPA and non-conformance investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems.
• Manage ISO 9001 and HACCP certification, surveillance audits and recertification activities.
• Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances and incidents, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner closely with manufacturing and operational teams to improve quality, safety and compliance performance.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessment and workplace safety initiatives.
• Support process control, process capability and product quality performance across manufacturing operations.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Quality team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in a QHSE, Quality or Food Safety leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience developing, implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• HACCP and Food Safety management experience.
• Experience leading internal and external audits, certification programs and compliance activities.
• Strong root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventative action (CAPA) and non-conformance investigation experience.
