Olympus in Melbourne (Notting Hill, VIC) is hiring a full-time QA Technician to join the Service team. You will perform final inspections on repaired equipment to ensure they meet Olympus standards before release to customers.

You will conduct multiple checks (functional, optical, electrical, mechanical) and work with technical leads to resolve issues, driving improvements in repair quality and service workflows.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience with medical devices, endoscopic equipment or within a medical device servicing/technical environment.
• Understanding of flexible and/or rigid endoscopic systems and related testing needs.
• Experience performing servicing, repair, testing, inspection or QA activities.
• Ability to interpret manuals, procedures and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and precise documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform final inspections of equipment repaired by our Repair Technicians.
• Conduct functional, performance, optical, leak, electrical and mechanical checks on repaired endoscopic equipment.
• Use approved inspection procedures, documentation and test equipment to verify acceptance criteria.
• Work with Technical Specialists and Team Leaders to address issues and rectifications.
• Identify recurring faults and contribute to continuous improvement across repair quality and service workflows.
