Job summary

Ganaji Contracting is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Supervisor to lead quality control on a major industrial process plant construction project near Karratha, WA. The role requires 7+ years in Electrical QA/QC with a strong background in Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, and heavy industrial construction.

You will coordinate ITPs, inspections and QC surveillance, manage NCRs/CARs/TQs, and liaise with electrical teams and subcontractors. Immediate mobilisation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in Electrical QA/QC, Quality Assurance or Quality Control
  • Strong electrical construction background across Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, Process Plants, Resources or Heavy Industrial Construction
  • Demonstrated experience working on major industrial or Tier 1 construction projects
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with Electrical Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Experience conducting and coordinating electrical construction inspections, testing and quality surveillance
  • Experience managing witness points and hold points in accordance with approved ITPs
  • Experience inspecting electrical installation works including cable installation, pulling, glanding, terminations, containment, switchboards and equipment
  • Experience identifying, documenting and managing NCRs, CARs and TQs relating to electrical construction
  • Experience reviewing electrical subcontractor and supplier quality documentation
  • Experience maintaining electrical quality records, inspection documentation, ITRs and quality registers
  • Experience with punch lists, defect closeout, electrical completions and handover documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings, specifications, standards and project requirements
  • Previous experience as an Electrical QA/QC Supervisor or Electrical QA/QC Inspector on major construction projects
  • Strong communication, documentation, organisational and coordination skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate electrical inspections, testing and QC surveillance on site
  • Manage NCRs, CARs and TQs to approved ITPs
  • Review electrical subcontractor/supplier quality documentation
  • Maintain electrical quality records, ITRs and quality registers
  • Execute punch lists and defect closeout for electro-mechanical handover

Job description

Ganaji Contracting is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Supervisor to join our construction team on a major industrial process plant construction project near Karratha, WA.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical QA/QC professional with 7+ years' experience and a strong background in Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, Process Plants, Resources or Heavy Industrial Construction.

Project Details
  • Project Location: Karratha, WA
  • Roster:2:1 FIFO
  • Karratha Local: DIDO available for Karratha residents
  • Point of Hire (POH): Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide
  • Travel: Flights provided in line with project travel arrangements and flight schedules
  • Employment: Full-time project work
  • Hours: Approx. 70 hours per week
  • Duration:12+ months
  • Mobilisation: Immediate
  • Rate + Allowances + Superannuation (Weekly pay)
  • RDO:1 per swing (subject to project requirements)
  • Breaks:Paid break applies when working over 10 hours
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in Electrical QA/QC, Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
  • Strong electrical construction background across Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, Process Plants, Resources or Heavy Industrial Construction.
  • Demonstrated experience working on major industrial or Tier 1 construction projects.

  • Previous experience with Tier 1 EPC / EPCM / major project environments
  • Relevant QA/QC or inspection certification
  • Tickets and competencies must be current and valid where required for mobilisation and site access
