Job summary

SkinTech Lab Pty Ltd in Sunshine West, Melbourne, is seeking experienced QA/QC professionals to join our cosmetics manufacturing. You will perform qualification and validation studies, sample and test raw and packaging materials, and conduct in-process and finished product testing.

Responsibilities include organizing samples for external laboratories, preparing Certificates of Analysis, maintaining stability programs, and acting as Document Controller and Internal Auditor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in QA/QC or validation in cosmetics or pharma manufacturing.
• Experience with sampling, testing, COA, and documentation.
• Ability to write and communicate in English.

Job description

We are a new, modern, and technologically advanced manufacturing facility in Sunshine West, and we are looking for experienced QA/QC personnel to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with work experience in a cosmetics, personal care or sunscreen manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform qualification and validation studies.
• Sample, test, and release raw and packaging materials. Conduct in-process and finished product testing.
• Perform sampling and testing as per the Inspection and Test Plan, including online and finished goods inspections.
• Organise samples for shipment to external laboratories for testing.
• Prepare Certificate of Analysis.
• Maintain long-term and ongoing stability programs.
• Assist in investigating Out of Specification, Customer Complaints, and Deviations.
• Conduct environmental monitoring, water sampling, and testing programs.
• Coordinate the calibration of all equipment and measuring devices in the organisation.
• Ensure the laboratory cleaning program is implemented.
• Collect and maintain retention samples and records to keep them up to date.
• Collect samples and coordinate testing with external testing laboratories.
• Prepare procedures, forms, logbooks, specifications, and test methods.
• Perform the role of Document Controller to prepare, review, and distribute documents.
• Perform the role of Internal Auditor.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in QA, QC or validation in a cosmetics or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in qualification and validation.
• Able to write and communicate efficiently in English.
