Job summary

Clicks IT Recruitment is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Brisbane. This full-time on-site role requires working five days per week in Brisbane CBD, with remote applications not considered.

You will join a high-performing Agile team delivering quality software across a data-rich enterprise platform, focusing on test automation, data quality, and end-to-end QA across UI, API, and backend services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in QA and automation testing.
• Strong Agile delivery and SDLC understanding.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites.
• Hands-on REST API testing experience.
• Experience testing data-intensive applications.
• Proactive, collaborative in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality assurance for features and user stories.
• Define test approaches and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and docs.
• Design, build and maintain automated tests across UI, API and backend.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and team leads.
• Communicate quality risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Champion shift-left testing practices.
