Charters Towers Council is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to lead the QA program for road construction and maintenance. You will inspect works, test results, and provide practical technical advice to the Operations Department to ensure delivery meets defined standards.

The role requires knowledge of QA processes, strong inspection capabilities, and the ability to support audits and prequalification for TMR projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of QA, inspection and testing principles in civil construction/maintenance.
• Ability to develop and monitor QA procedures, inspection/testing requirements, audit schedules and corrective actions.

Responsabilités

• Run the council’s QA program for road construction and maintenance.
• Inspect and test works and provide practical technical advice to the Operations Department.
• Assess road construction/maintenance against quality controls and requirements to support consistent delivery standards.
• Assist external audits and maintain prequalification for TMR projects.
