EBR Ever Better Recruitment in Sydney, NSW seeks an experienced QA/Software Tester to implement automated acceptance and performance tests, guide colleagues on testing practices, and ensure quality prior to releases. You will collaborate with developers to craft test cases, interpret QA standards, and execute both manual and automated testing to identify and report issues.

The role requires hands-on automation experience, familiarity with web servers, SQL, and agile software development

Qualifications

• Proven experience in testing complex, commercial software e.g. enterprise software.
• A bachelor's or relevant qualification in software, engineering, computer science
• Significant experience in automation testing.
• Good understanding of Git, SVN, Maven etc.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies that support quality.
• Familiar with Tomcat, Nginx and other web servers.
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience in Agile environments and software testing lifecycle
• Ability to apply testing techniques to test documentation and execution
• Excellent user-level understanding of internet technologies APIs, websites
• Able to communicate with Developers and Product Managers
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new products and skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for sport and wagering industry
