ACCIONA Energía is seeking a safety-focused PV Technician to join our operations team at the Aldoga Solar Farm near Gladstone. Working within a highly skilled maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation and performance of one of our renewable energy assets.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance across the solar farm and balance-of-plant infrastructure, contributing to safe, efficient operation and

Qualifications

Trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical.
Current Queensland A Grade Electrical Licence desirable.
3–5 years post-trade experience in industry.
Experience in industrial/energy/renewable environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Valid manual driver's license.
Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to safe workplace and safety culture.
PAW suitability assessment may be required.

Responsabilités

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar farm infrastructure.
Inspect, maintain and repair PV systems, inverters, battery storage and substation assets.
Conduct HV and substation inspections, repairs and switching operations.
Support commissioning, testing, fault finding and operational activities.
Monitor, supervise and audit contractor works for quality and safety.
Record maintenance activities using CMMS, including Maximo and HSEQ platforms.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and investigations.
Maintain site vehicles, tools and equipment.
Participate in an on-call roster supporting a 24/7 operating environment.
