Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking a Purchasing Officer to support health services by ensuring efficient purchasing, inventory, and contract processes. You will work with stakeholders to deliver timely resources, maintain compliance and provide supplier advice to improve outcomes across the Darling Downs region.

You will collaborate with teams, leverage systems and data, and identify opportunities to streamline practices while focusing on quality healthcare delivery for the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or related operations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with systems, data and processes in a complex environment.
• Collaborative mindset focused on service and continuous improvement.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar enterprise systems is a plus.
