Job summary

MLG Oz in Perth WA is seeking a motivated Purchasing Officer to join our Inventory & Purchasing team. You’ll help secure parts, equipment and materials to keep our mining sites running efficiently, working with internal teams and suppliers on purchasing activities and freight coordination.

You don’t need years of purchasing experience; we value reliability and organisation. Perth-based role with Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, hands-on training and clear career progression within a growing ASX-listed

Qualifications

• Reliability and willingness to learn in a mining environment.
• Experience in purchasing, stores, warehousing, logistics or administration is advantageous.
• Familiarity with inventory, procurement or ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders.
• Follow up suppliers on orders and delivery schedules.
• Receive and check incoming goods.
• Maintain inventory records and stock levels.
• Assist with stocktakes and audits.
• Coordinate freight movements and dispatches.
• Build positive supplier and site relationships.
• Support continuous improvement in purchasing and stores operations.
• Maintain safe work practices and compliance.
