Job summary

Accountancy Options is partnering with a well-established Australian organisation in Melbourne to recruit a Purchasing Analyst for a 6-month FTC, starting mid-October. You will support end-to-end purchasing and procurement, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include managing P2P activities, invoice reconciliation, contract processing, and delivering cost-effective procurement outcomes while building strong supplier relationships and providing reporting

Qualifications

• Experience across purchasing process and Procure-to-Pay.
• Experience using Coupa or another procurement system is essential.
• Experience in contract management system.
• Trained and proficient in process improvement methodology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to work with a large team or experience in working in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day procure-to-pay activities, including purchase order, invoice reconciliation and receipting
• Ensuring purchasing and billing queries are resolved accurately and within agreed timeframes
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve purchasing, purchase requisition, purchase orders, goods receipt and invoice-related queries
• Quality checking and processing of contracts
• Supporting procurement strategies that deliver cost-effective purchasing outcomes
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Providing reporting, data analysis and general administrative support as required

Our Client is a well established Australian organisation with a strong national presence, supporting people and communities through a diverse range of services. Currently they are seeking a Purchasing Analyst to support within their Business Operations team on a 6 month FTC, commencing mid- October. You'll support the end-to-end purchasing and procurement lifecycle, working closely with the internal stakeholder and suppliers.

About the role:

• Managing day-to-day procure-to-pay activities, including purchase order, invoice reconciliation and receipting
