Job summary

Xylem Darwin workshop is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine and emergency service and repair on our pumps and rental fleet, including Flygt and Godwin brands. You will read drawings, inspect equipment, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Background in fitter/turner, mech fitter, mechanic, heavy diesel fitter or electrical trades.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine and emergency service/repair on pumps and rental fleet on-site and in the workshop.
• Strip and overhaul customer pump sets and products.
• Read, interpret, and retain instructions and technical drawings.
• Inspect and test products prior to dispatch.
• Provide timely and accurate advice and support to employees and customers on service, workshop, and product issues.
