Job summary

Frontline Construction is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor based in Unanderra, NSW, to oversee pump systems, mechanical maintenance and a trades team in a hands-on leadership role.

You will supervise daily operations, troubleshoot faults, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient performance of equipment. A Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade and a strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with pumps, pumping systems and mechanical equipment.
• Experience supervising or leading a mechanical team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems.
• Experience coordinating maintenance schedules, repairs and daily workloads.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day mechanical operations, including pump systems and maintenance activities.
• Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting and fault-finding.
• Lead, support and coordinate a team of mechanical tradespeople.
• Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability.
• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
