Job summary

News Corp Australia is seeking an accomplished General Manager, Publishing & Distribution Technology to own the strategy, delivery and operations for digital publishing across ~30 brands. You will drive platforms behind journalism across web, mobile and partner ecosystems, ensuring resilience and commercial focus.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in digital technology.
• Experience owning technology roadmaps and outcomes across multiple products/brands.
• Strong understanding of modern web/app architectures, APIs & CMS platforms.
• Experience with WordPress/PHP, content APIs, video/audio, MAM/DAM, AWS, DRM.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Publishing & Distribution technology strategy and multi year roadmap.
• Establish standards and investment priorities for web and app channels.
• Translate business strategy into clear technology choices and measurable outcomes.
• Balance innovation with reliability, security and operational discipline.
