You will translate commercial priorities into clear, prioritised and scalable technology delivery, leading the operating rhythm from opportunity through launch, optimisation and continuous improvement.

Connect commercial priorities with technology delivery: Translate Sales, Client Partnerships and Client Product priorities into clear technology plans, sequencing, dependencies and outcomes.

Partner with AdTech: Work closely with the AdTech team and other technology partners to support alignment, integration and coordinated delivery, while recognising that AdTech sits outside this function.

Contribute to investment decisions: Bring technology insight, delivery implications, options, risks and recommendations to investment discussions and planning processes.

Drive cross-functional alignment: Manage and influence teams within and beyond direct reporting lines, aligning TDD, Client Partnerships, Client Product, AdTech and the wider business.

Maintain an outside-in perspective: Monitor relevant innovation, technology advances and emerging practices across advertising, media and technology, translating useful opportunities into action.

Contribute to strategic leadership: Participate in executive discussions and build strong relationships across News Corp to share best practice, leverage shared capabilities and support innovation at scale.

Who are you?

Experienced leader: Significant leadership experience across technology, digital product, engineering, delivery or a related field, with a track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams.

Strong commercial understanding: The ability to understand commercial objectives, client needs, audience value and business performance, and translate them into practical technology priorities.

Technology strategy and delivery experience: A proven track record of leading technology strategy and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives from prioritisation through to execution and measurable impact.

Portfolio leadership: Experience overseeing delivery across multiple products, platforms, capabilities or initiatives, ideally across web and app environments.

Commercial product and partnership experience: Experience working at the intersection of digital product, commercial partnerships, advertising, media, ecommerce, data or technology-enabled services.

AdTech and ecosystem awareness: Understanding of advertising technology and experience partnering effectively with AdTech or adjacent technology teams is preferred.

Executive engagement: Experience working with senior executives, clients, partners and stakeholders across direct and indirect reporting lines.

Investment and prioritisation experience: Experience contributing technology advice, options and recommendations to investment, prioritisation or planning decisions.
