Job summary

The NSW Government is seeking an ICT Commercial Specialist to support the development and implementation of ICT procurement projects. The role focuses on commercial, procurement and contract management across ICT initiatives, ensuring governance and probity throughout the process.

Based in Sydney CBD with a hybrid working arrangement, this 6-month contract reports to the Manager, ICT Commercial and offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact government ICT programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT procurement, commercial or contract management, ideally within government.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement, NSW Government policy, probity and governance.
• Experience managing tenders, contracts, renewals, variations and suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial, procurement and contract support across ICT projects and operations.
• Develop and coordinate tender, sourcing and procurement documentation.
• Facilitate procurement evaluations, approvals and contract processes.
• Maintain contract registers, procurement records and supplier performance data.
• Support contract renewals, supplier management and procurement planning.
• Ensure compliance with NSW Government procurement policy and governance requirements.
• Provide commercial reporting and advice to support informed decision-making and value for money.
