Job summary

The Victorian Public Sector Commission in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Digital Solutions Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term appointment. You will translate business requirements into configured solutions across our systems and platforms, delivering secure, accessible and user-focused results.

You will work with project leads, subject matter experts and vendors to build, test and rollout configurations, templates and reporting, while improving data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, configuring and administering business systems or configurable digital platforms in a complex organisational environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Experience supporting project delivery, testing, releases and implementation activities with risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with Freshworks, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Power Platform; CRM and event delivery systems is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead build, configuration, testing and rollout of solutions across designated projects.
• Translate agreed business requirements into configured fields, forms, workflows, permissions, templates, validation rules, notifications and reporting.
• Build, configure and administer business systems and configurable platforms including Freshworks, Salesforce and Microsoft products.
• Plan and undertake testing, diagnose and resolve defects and implementation issues, and support release planning and early life support.
• Work with users, vendors and technical partners to resolve issues, manage dependencies, prepare guidance and training materials, and support adoption and knowledge transfer.
