Job summary

The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to negotiate and administer financial assistance contracts with government and private sector entities. You will assess financial viability, draft documentation and monitor contract performance to protect government interests.

Qualifications

Experience in financial analysis, including interpreting statements and assessing viability.
Experience in administration and management of commercial contracts, including grants, loans or other financial assistance.
Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Undertaking financial assessments of applicants for government assistance.
Assisting in drafting and development of contractual documentation.
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of businesses receiving government support.
Communicating effectively with stakeholders to progress contract matters.
Assessing compliance with contractual obligations and seeking approvals as required.
Identifying and managing risks and supporting restructuring of grantees/borrowers.
